He has created flagship stores for some of the world’s most iconic fashion houses, including Chanel, Dior, Bulgari and Louis Vuitton, and transformed the shopping experience into an immersive blend of architecture, art, and brand identity. Known for his architecture that is defined by sculptural sophistication and meticulous attention to material detail, Marino often integrates site-specific contemporary artworks into his designs, a reflection of his deep engagement with the art world. In the early years of his career, he collaborated with Andy Warhol to renovate Warhol’s townhouse on East 66th and later on his Factory on 860 Broadway. Marino is also a prolific collector and patron, and curates exhibitions from his incredible collection at the Southampton Peter Marino Art Foundation, which he opened as a public space to share his passion for art. In recognition of his cultural contributions, he was named Officier of the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture in 2012. With his signature leather attire, silver jewelry, and biker aesthetic, he is also a distinct cultural and fashion figure whose work blurs the lines between architecture, fashion and provocation in the world of design. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Joopiter","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":46943174361337,"sku":"JP1025059","price":0.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":false}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0613\/2783\/5385\/files\/JP1025059_01.jpg?v=1784039526","url":"https:\/\/shop.joopiter.com\/products\/peters-dragons","provider":"Joopiter","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
